Installation Notes

  • Warranty Registration: Installations with Sunsynk products must be registered within 7 days of commissioning to activate the warranty.
  • BMS Cables: Use SUN-CAN-3M for installations with Pylontech, REVOV, and Hubble Lithium batteries. For Freedom Won batteries, use F-WON-CAN-SUN.
  • Firmware: Ensure the inverter is on bypass mode and the PV is off during firmware updates to prevent damage.

  • Recommended Circuit Breaker Size: Use the correct size output breaker as per SANS10142-1:
    • Max pass-through current: 50 A
    • Recommended breaker size: 40 A
